Tyson Recalls 40,000 Pounds of Ground Beef

11 June, 2007 (21:35) | Recalls

That’s a lot of ground beef, but apparently, there is a chance that it is contaminated with E. coli bacteria. We’ve all heard enough about E. coli over the years and should know that it can be quite dangerous — especially to young children and the elderly.

The recalled ground beef was sold to Wal-Mart stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas as reported by Tyson.

Wal-Mart has removed the product from it’s shelves and no illnesses have been reported so far.
